1. Class selection

At the beginning of TLI, you choose a hero or class (for example, Gemma, Carino, Moto ...), each with special attributes. Depending on which hero you choose, you can play either in melee, ranged, with summons/minions, as a healer/support, or in a mix of these. In the mid-game, the differences are often not significant, so just choose what you like. Later, there may be changes.

2. Skill system

In the skill system, you can filter by specific categories such as Offensive, Mobility, Recovery, Trigger, etc., or search for terms like """summon"/"summoning." Each hero has special abilities that are useful for creating your own strategies. Abilities start at the hero's initial level and become stronger the more they are used. Additionally, there are other options besides a skill, such as energy consumption for bonus unlocking.

3. Equipment system

The system for the equipment is quite complicated. Important are affixes, which are divided into prefixes and suffixes. Each affix has a value from T0 (high) to T9 (low). The smaller the T-value, the higher the quality or the chance of obtaining T0 or T1.

When you reach a certain level, you can craft equipment. You can exchange or improve affixes. If you don't achieve the desired result, you can craft something again. Confirmation: Only "Prized Gear" with T0 affixes is relevant for endgame characters in the game.

4. Talent system

In season 9, there were changes to the talent system. There are six large panels of images referred to as "gods."

  • God of Might (Strength)
  • Goddess of Hunting (Agility)
  • Goddess of Knowledge (Intelligence)
  • God of War (Physical)
  • Goddess of Deception (Spell)
  • God of Machines (Summon)

In each panel, there are 5 talent trees. With talent points, you can unlock nodes. If you reach 12 points in a tree, you unlock a core talent advantage, which is very important for your build. A hero has the option to choose a total of 4 trees and 5 core advantages, which gives them a lot of freedom.

5. Pactspirit System

There are two main categories: Battle Pactspirits and Drop Pactspirits. Battle Pact spirits can, for example, improve skill damage or combat values. Drop Pactspirit to improve the amount of loot or special items. You may carry up to 3 items from each category at the same time (e.g., 3 Battle + 3 Drop).

You can earn rewards through events, boons, and currency exchange. With this system, you can specialize your build, either for more damage or to collect more loot.

6. Tips

  • If you are a beginner and want to stay relaxed, use the "One Click Build" option in the game settings or follow the recommended strategies of other players.
  • Choose a build you like and click "Apply." Choose a build you like and click "Apply." Then the skill and talent trees will be marked for you. This is especially easy for beginners.
